Qualifications: Mr. Smith has served as Design Engineer and Project Manager for over 40 years with several consulting engineering firms.
He has worked on all phases of private and public engineering projects. These projects have included residential and commercial site plans and subdivisions; sewerage collection and water distribution systems; septic system designs; dam studies and inspections; and roadway rehabilitation and reconstruction projects.
He also served as an assistant to the Township Engineer in Montgomery Twp., Somerset County for 3 years.
As President of Hopewell Valley Engineering, P.C., he is responsible for the management of the Civil Engineering Design Division and the Land Surveying Department.
Joseph M.Mahan, Jr., P.E., P.P., CME

Qualifications: Mr. Mahan has over 45 years experience working for several well-known consulting firms and for New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Water Resources.
He has worked on projects both for developers and for municipal, county, and state agencies reviewing site developmental plans submitted to them.
Typical projects have included large scale residential, commercial, and industrial site developments and public works improvements.
Drainage and flood control remain an area of particular interest. Mr. Mahan has served as the consulting engineer for several municipalities in central New Jersey.
